Learning outcomes
Achievement of such competencies, skills and abilities as solving complex specialized and practical problems in the field of corporate law, which involves the application of legal doctrines, legal principles, rules of law, solving cases of corporate law in situations requiring systematic, logical and functional interpretation of the law, as well as understanding the peculiarities of their application; ability to independently draft law enforcement acts (draft court decisions on various categories of corporate disputes, draft corporate regulations, taking into account the requirements for their legality, validity and motivation; ability to demonstrate skills of professional support of corporate operations and processes, ability to analyse corporate institutions in terms of their problematic aspects.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the provisions of the legislation on business organizations, organizational bases of legal professionals’ activity in the field of economic activity. Possess basic skills to ensure proper legal support of economic activity in the area of document circulation, drafting internal (local regulations), job descriptions, contractual work organization, preparation and analysis of contractual documents, claims, procedural documents, support of business decisions. Be able to analyze case law on resolving economic disputes; analyse sources of special literature on relevant topics of the course; use the acquired interdisciplinary links, in particular, in economic, civil, tax law; compile problems on the basis of real court cases; master the skills of drafting law enforcement acts used in business organizations
Course content
The course provides students with knowledge of legal work in business organizations; skills necessary for effective legal work (communication, information, legal, financial, organizational, reputational, etc.); ensuring effective corporate governance; protection of assets of the business organization, organization of contractual, claim work at the enterprise; rights and interests protection of the business organization in courts and during inspections. Such knowledge helps to increase the professional level and competitiveness of future lawyers in the market of legal professions by deepening knowledge in the field of legal services to business entities and the formation of legal work skills in business organizations. This discipline forms interdisciplinary links with other disciplines, such as: economic law, civil law, corporate law, economic procedural law.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Teaching methods include conversation, explanation, scientific discussion on topical issues of the course; problem-based teaching of certain issues of the course, the use of visual material in the form of presentations, the use of statistical methods for presenting material on forms of organization of business entities, the results of the consideration of commercial disputes by courts; review and analysis of webinars; practical methods - coordination of students’ actions in solving cases based on real case materials, controlled simulation of students’ consultations and drafting documents on protection of rights and interests of corporate entities; discussion of complex legal issues of the course.
Assessment methods and criteria
Types of formative assessment are chosen by the teacher who conducts practical lessons in accordance with the course syllabus. The teacher who conducts the seminars enters the number of points scored during ongoing performance assessment into the relevant documents of student performance assessment. If a student is absent from a seminar for a valid reasons, s/he may complete the missed lesson in extracurricular time during the module when this seminar was missed. Students can complete a lesson by means of oral questioning or by performing another type of task set by the teacher. Points for missed classes are not awarded
