Learning outcomes
Know the main features of the legal status of academic, research and teaching staff, the grounds and procedure for the emergence of legal relations arising in connection with professional activities, features of the conclusion, change and termination of employment relations; special concepts and terminology; literature
Be able to apply acts of national labor law, analyze international labor law in the scientific field, be able to analyze legal issues and form legal positions, logically, critically and systematically analyze documents, understand their legal nature and significance.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the legal basis of legal regulation of academic, research and teaching staff in the field of scientific activity, basic rights and responsibilities established by the legislation of Ukraine to academic, research and teaching staff, requirements of Ukrainian legislation for obtaining scientific degrees and academic titles.
Be able to determine the rights and responsibilities of the subjects of academic, research and teaching activities, general requirements for the legislation of Ukraine for such activities.
Possess the skills to prepare scientific, information and analytical conclusions on theoretical and practical legal issues of labor regulation of academic, research and teaching staff in the field of scientific activity.

Topic 1. Academic, research and teaching staff in the structure of the subjects of labor law of Ukraine
Topic 2. Legal relations in the field of labor, arising in the scientific field
Topic 3. Peculiar features of the employment agreement (contract) with academic, research and teaching staff
Topic 4 Rights and responsibilities of academic, research and teaching staff in labor law
Topic 5. Legal regulation of labor relations with the participation of working owners
Topic 6. Peculiar features of the system of legal regulation and the legal nature of labor relations of managers and owners of enterprises, institutions, organizations (in the context of projected labor legislation of Ukraine)
Topic 7. Termination of labor relations with the heads of enterprises, institutions and organizations in labor law
Topic 8. The mechanism of public administration of scientific activity

Assessment methods and criteria
The maximum final score for this discipline can be 100 points. A post-graduate student can score a maximum of 60 points for an exam, to which the points scored by a student during the semester are added. To score an overall positive assessment for the discipline, the score for the exam should not be less than 36 points. If a student scored less than 36 points for an exam, the latter is not added to the semester score. "Exam scores" are set to "0", and only the number of points scored during the semester is transferred to the "score" column.
