Learning outcomes
PLO 6. Use professional arguments to transmit information, ideas, problems and ways of their solving to professionals and non-professionals in the field of economic activity. PLO 9. Realize the main features of the modern world and national economy, institutional structure, directions of social, economic and foreign economic policy of the state. PLO 13. Identify sources and understand the methodology of determination and methods for obtaining socio-economic data, collect and analyze the necessary information, calculate economic and social indicators. PLO 21. Ability to think abstractly, apply analysis and synthesis to identify the key characteristics of economic systems at various levels, as well as the peculiarities of their subjects' behavior. PLO 22. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in new situations, in working with new objects and in uncertain conditions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of courses: “Microeconomics”, “Economics and Economic policy”, “Intellectual property”. Knowledge of the principles of economic theory; main concepts and categories of economics; nature and features of intellectual property rights; principles of the organisation of market relations and economic activities; forming and using of intellectual activity results in entrepreneurial activity.
Course content
Course is devoted to research of the nature, principles and features of realisation of economic relations in the field of intellectual property under formation of a post-industrial society, financial mechanisms of economic turnover of intellectual activity results and functioning of the intellectual property market. Under the discipline functions and mechanism of performance evaluation of fundraising under intellectual property commercialization and its role in provision of innovative activity of the enterprise are analysed. The discipline provides studying in practice of different forms of fundraising during the commercialization of intellectual activity results and the mechanism of protection of intellectual property objects in the field of business activity.
