Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the provisions of the Economic Code of Ukraine and legislative acts from the course of Economic Law regulating the legal status of business entities of various organizational and legal forms, determine the legal status of their property, the system of bodies resolving economic disputes, the provisions of the Economic Procedural Code Ukraine. Be able to consolidate and deepen the knowledge gained during the lectures by means of analysing sources of special literature on relevant topics of the course; apply the knowledge acquired from other disciplines, in particular, civil and economic law; use legal information and analytical resources of the Internet; perform self-study tasks, solve problems. Possess skills for drafting law enforcement acts used in business entities’ activities (constitutional and internal documents of joint-stock companies,
Course content
The course focuses on the basic principles and provisions of the application of legal acts in the field of economic activity regulation and the specifics of economic relations. Forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at conducting legal analysis of economic relations and economic activities of business entities; solving complex problems in the field of lawmaking and law enforcement.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at conducting legal analysis of economic relations and economic activities of business entities; ability to solve complex problems in the field of lawmaking and law enforcement. The discipline deals with general characteristics of subjects; state regulation; property basis of economic activity; economic agreement; economic and legal liability, bankruptcy. The course stipulates in-depth study of current economic legislation of Ukraine, legal literature, basic concepts and special terminology
Assessment methods and criteria
The final grade is the sum of the student’s points based on the results of the assessment during the semester and the grade for the exam (points obtained at the exam). The maximum final grade for the discipline can be 100 points. Students can achieve the maximum of 60 points at the exam. For an overall positive grade in the discipline, the exam grade cannot be less than 36 points. If a student scored less than 36 points on the exam, the latter are not added to the semester grade (regardless of the number of points obtained during the semester), "0" is indicated in the column "exam scores" and in the column "final grade" only the number of points obtained during the semester are indicated. Types of formative assessment are chosen by the teacher who conducts seminars in agreement with the lecturer and in accordance with the course syllabus.
