Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Know the histogenesis and submicroscopic structure of the elements of the glandular epithelium, anatomy, basics of biochemistry and physiology of endocrine organs. 2. Be able to use microscopic instruments to distinguish between different types of glandular cells of the endocrine system at the cyto- and histological level. 3. To have basic skills of making histological preparation of endocrine organs and the ability to work with a light microscope.
Course content
The discipline "Histophysiology of the Reproductive System" is a component of the educational program of professional training of specialists of the educational level "Bachelor". Discipline is the basis for obtaining a holistic view of the structural and functional organization of the reproductive system and the principle of regulation of the peripheral gonads and other organs of the reproductive system. The role of cytoarchitectonics of the mammalian and human hypothalamus with the characteristics of neurosecretory nuclei, hypothalamic tracts, medial elevation and pituitary gland in the regulation of the reproductive system is analyzed. The cyto-histostructure of various organs of the reproductive system in both males and females under normal conditions is studied.
