PR01. Demonstrate communication in dialogue with colleagues and the target audience, conduct professional scientific discussions, reflect in writing and present the results of their research in Ukrainian. PR03. Use theories and laws of mathematics, physics, chemistry and other sciences to solve problems of modern biology. PR05. Use knowledge and demonstrate compliance with the provisions of biological ethics, biological safety and biological protection. PR06. Apply the principles of taxonomy, methods of detection and identification of non-cellular life forms, prokaryotes and eukaryotes. PR07. Demonstrate knowledge of the structural organization of biological systems at the molecular level of the organization. PR08. Demonstrate knowledge of fundamental biological processes, structure and functions of living organisms.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Cytology", "Histology", "Biology of individual development", "Genetics", "Biochemistry", "Molecular Biology". 2. Ability to independently apply cytological, histological, embryological and genetic knowledge to solve specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. 3. Possession of basic skills of monitoring the development of gametes and embryos in the early stages of development.
Course content
The discipline "Reproductive Technologies" is part of the cycle of professional training of specialists at the educational level "Bachelor" in the educational program "Biology". The discipline is a basic embryological discipline that covers the methods of manipulation of germ cells, some or all stages of preparation of reproductive cells, the processes of fertilization and development of embryos carried out in vitro, before their transfer into the uterine cavity. The discipline is designed to highlight the main issues regarding the peculiarities of the basics of various embryological and cellular techniques and assisted reproductive methods; practical use of reproductive methods in various areas of human economic activity: in modern medicine and veterinary medicine, in research.
