PR01. Demonstrate communication in dialogue with colleagues and the target audience, conduct professional scientific discussions, reflect in writing and present the results of their research in Ukrainian. PR02. Identify the ability to communicate in a foreign language in dialogue with colleagues and target audience. PR03. Use theories and laws of mathematics, physics, chemistry and other sciences to solve problems of modern biology. PR04. Understand the basic terms, concepts, principles, theories and laws in the field of biological sciences and on the boundaries of subject areas. PR05. Use knowledge and demonstrate compliance with the provisions of biological ethics, biological safety and biological protection. PR06. Apply the principles of taxonomy, methods of detection and identification of non-cellular life forms, prokaryotes and eukaryotes. PR07. Demonstrate knowledge of the structural organization of biological systems at the molecular level of the organization.

Full-time form

1. Successful mastering of the courses "General Cytology", "Histology", "Biochemistry", "Molecular Biology", "Biology of Individual Development", "General Genetics", "Physiology and Anatomy of Man and Animals". 2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of general cytology, histology, biochemistry, physiology and other disciplines, perform laboratory and practical work, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Have basic skills in working with materials and equipment, follow safety precautions when working with chemicals used in cytological, cytochemical, cytogenetic, histological, embryological laboratories.

The discipline is basic for gaining practical skills and mastering the basic methods of cytogenetics, developmental biology, histopathology of the reproductive system and molecular embryology. The cycle of laboratory work masters basic methodological approaches for research, diagnosis and formulation of methods in such specialized areas as hormonal regulation of ontogenesis, pathology of the reproductive system, cytogenetic basis of embryonic development. During laboratory classes, students master the methods of analysis of the functional state of organs and tissues to identify their cellular and tissue composition at the macro- and microscopic levels not only of the reproductive system, but also the whole body. Attention is paid to acquaintance with the basic methods and techniques of cytogenetic and molecular cell research, which can be used in experiments in related fields of biological and medical sciences for practical purposes.
