PR01. Demonstrate communication in dialogue with colleagues and the target audience, conduct professional scientific discussions, reflect in writing and present the results of their research in Ukrainian.
PR03. Use theories and laws of mathematics, physics, chemistry and other sciences to solve problems of modern biology.
PR05. Use knowledge and demonstrate compliance with the provisions of biological ethics, biological safety and biological protection.
PR06. Apply the principles of taxonomy, methods of detection and identification of non-cellular life forms, prokaryotes and eukaryotes.
PR07. Demonstrate knowledge of the structural organization of biological systems at the molecular level of the organization.
PR08. Demonstrate knowledge of fundamental biological processes, structure and functions of living organisms.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of educational disciplines "General cytology", "Histology", "Molecular biology", "Biology of individual development".
2. Ability to independently apply knowledge of cytology, histology, molecular biology, biochemistry, etc. disciplines for solving specific scientific and practical problems; ability to work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature.
3. Possession of basic skills of systems analysis.
Course content
"Methods of developmental biology" is a basic discipline devoted to the study of microscopic, molecular, preparative and analytical methods used at various stages of ontogenesis research. The course is aimed at forming in students a clear understanding of the basic principles of choosing methodological techniques for solving specific scientific and practical problems, as well as the peculiarities of their application in laboratories of clinical and research profile.
