Learning outcomes
To know the criteria that determine the accuracy and reliability of information; how to achieve a balanced presentation of material, impartiality and multifaceted points of view. To be able to distinguish and practically apply basic professional and ethical standards. To combine the tools of regulation and self-regulation of the journalistic profession in the form of mass media legislation and professional/ethical media standards.

Course content
The purpose is to teach a student a set of practical knowledge and skills regarding professional and ethical standards in the activities of a modern journalist for the purpose of professional media critical introspection.

Assessment methods and criteria
The number of points includes the points earned by the student over the course study. The final score consists of the points earned for the oral answers at seminars, profile/resume, and portfolio. Final assessment: form of assessment is a credit; the maximum number of points that a student can earn per semester is 100.
