PRO3. Use theories and laws of mathematics, physics, chemistry and other sciences to solve problems of modern biology, PRO4. Understand the basic terms on the border of subject areas. concepts, principles, theories and laws in the field of biological sciences. PRO7. Demonstrate knowledge of the organization of biological systems at the molecular level of the organization. PRO9. Demonstrate knowledge of heredity and variability, molecular mechanisms of conservation and realization of genetic information and the importance of evolutionary processes. PR16. Choose methods, algorithms for planning and conducting field, laboratory, clinical and laboratory research, including mathematical methods and software for research, processing and presentation of results. PR17. Through self-study to master the knowledge and modern methods of experimental research to solve problems of biology. PR21. Solve applied problems of biology by appropriate methods.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of disciplines "Bioorganic Chemistry", "Biochemistry", "Molecular Biology". 2. Ability to independently apply knowledge and skills acquired during the mastery of bioorganic chemistry, biochemistry, genetics and molecular biology; to search and analyze scientific literature. 3. Possession of skills in working with materials and equipment used in practical molecular biology.
Course content
Course "Protein Biosynthesis. Biological significance "is a component of the cycle of training specialists of the educational level" Bachelor "in the educational program" Biology ". It acquaints the student with the structural organization and functions of the protein-synthesizing apparatus; features of molecular biochemical mechanisms of matrix protein synthesis. The course considers the patterns of regulation of protein biosynthesis at different levels: the processes of protein sorting and molecular biochemical principles of systemic proteolysis are covered.
