Course content
The discipline "Biophysics of membrane transport" is a fundamental biophysical discipline concerning the structure, function and principles of functioning of the body's transport systems. The discipline is designed to generalize the idea of molecular and biophysical mechanisms of membrane transport. Particular attention is paid to the mechanisms of transmembrane ion transport and cell electrogenesis. During the study of the discipline much attention is paid to the practical application of knowledge in this field to develop new ways of influencing transport processes and / or correction of pathological conditions associated with their dysfunction.
