PR3. Carry out coordinated work for the result in the team, taking into account public, state and industrial interests. PR4. Solve scientific-theoretical, research and applied problems of biology by appropriate methods. PR25. Be able to use existing, develop and implement new research methods and technologies to solve a specific scientific-theoretical and / or applied problem in zoology.

1. To know the characteristic morpho-biological and ecological features of the most common model species of animals, methods of collection and maintenance of zoological objects. 2. Be able to take samples of representatives of certain taxonomic groups of animals; plan, organize and maintain laboratory conditions necessary for the creation of a temporary culture of model species; to make temporary and permanent preparations of animals. 3. Have basic skills in using specialized computer programs to present data in text format, search and analyze information in specialized journals and the Internet.

The discipline "Cultivation of invertebrates and the basics of collecting" is part of the program of professional training of specialists of educational level "Master" in the educational program "Biology". Within the framework of the elective course "Cultivation of invertebrates and the basics of collecting" students have the opportunity to get acquainted with the methodological basis of cultivation of model invertebrates for educational and scientific purposes, to master basics of collecting, to acquire skills of collecting model organisms in nature and creating a temporary laboratory culture, to learn how to prepare visual preparations of model organisms of invertebrates
