Obtaining professional competence within the educational qualification level of “Bachelor” in the “Law” specialty, “Labor Law”" specialization As a result of studying the course the student must know: provisions of labor law on the regulation of labor of transport and communications workers, as well as creative workers, in terms of the peculiarities of their acquisition of labor legal personality, their legal status, namely the consolidation of additional rights and responsibilities, guarantees and increased liability for violation of labor legislation be able to: independently study the scientific literature on the topic, apply the rules of labor law, analyze case law, draw reasonable conclusions; prepare expert opinions on controversial issues, substantiate legal position in the process of scientific discussion, perform other types of independent work.

Passing of the exam in the “Labor Law” discipline. Knowledge of labor legislation at the level of general institutions

Topic №1. General characteristics of the legal regulation of the work of transport and communications workers. Theoretical bases of differentiation of work of transport and communication workers. Concepts and classification of transport and communication workers. General characteristics of the legal status of transport and communications workers. Topic №2. Features of legal regulation of labor of railway, sea, air, automobile and city electric transport. Features of legal regulation of communication workers. Topic №3. The concept of creative work as a category of labor law. The concept of creative worker. The employee’s right to creativity, its limits. Topic №4. Features of the legal status of creative workers. Legal status of creative workers. Issues of determining the legal status of a creative worker (methodological approaches). Features of the legal status of some types of creative workers (journalists, architects, etc.).

Solving problems, answering questions, preparing a report, module test, participating in discussions, independent work, including filling in a workbook.

The evaluation is carried out according to the modular rating system. The module 1 includes topics 1 - 2, the module 2 includes topics 3 - 4, the module 3 includes topic 5. Attendance at lectures and practical classes, performance of the types of independent work established by the program are obligatory for a successful course completion. Correspondence scale (on a 100-point scale): 1 - 59 - not credited, 60 - 100 – credited.
