Course content
The discipline "Animal Phylogenetics" is a discipline of free choice of students. Within the discipline "Animal Phylogenetics" students have the opportunity to get acquainted with the theory and practice of modern animal phylogenetics, master the skills of basic phylogenetic analysis of morphological and molecular features using specialized computer programs, learn to formulate an evolutionary scenario for
available phylogenetic tree. The theoretical core of the discipline "Animal Phylogenetics" consists of such sciences as general zoology, taxonomy and nomenclature of animals, the theory of evolution, statistical analysis. However, it is closely related to disciplines such as biodiversity, zoogeography, evolutionary morphology of animals, etc.
