On the basis of in-depth knowledge of natural sciences to form an idea of ​​the laws of individual and historical development of biological systems at different levels of organization, the role of systemic processes in their formation, functioning and plasticity, features of their cooperative interaction and about the systematic organization of living things. Be able to form a system of analysis and interpretation of new results on the organization and functioning of the animal organism at the organismal and population levels based on in-depth knowledge of the disciplines of vocational training.

Course content
The discipline "Sociobiology" is a discipline of free choice of students. Within the discipline "Sociobiology" students have the opportunity to get acquainted with the structural and functional organization of social animals in terms of theory of evolution, as well as - the biological basis of human society and, in particular, the biological essence of phenomena such as altruism, leadership, cooperation, culture, rituals , religion, generational conflict, etc. Theoretically the core of the discipline "Sociobiology" consists of such sciences as general zoology and ecology. However, it is closely related to disciplines such as evolutionary theory, biodiversity, physiology of animal behavior, animal communication systems, and more.
