Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of the courses "Biochemistry", "Molecular Biology", "Genetics", "Cellular and Genetic Engineering" Knowledge of theoretical foundations of mathematics, molecular biology, physical chemistry, bioinformatics, biochemistry, biotechnology, cytology, genetics and cytogenetics. Ability to independently apply knowledge of molecular biology, etc. disciplines, perform laboratory and practical work, work with scientific literature.
Course content
"Genomics" covers the study of genomics - as a separate and complete discipline that is directly related to modern methods of obtaining and analyzing recombinant DNA, cloning specific genes and the use of cloned DNA, DNA sequencing, PCR, genome mapping, use of DNA markers, genomic maps in genetic analysis, and also provides information on the physical organization of whole genomes, functional genomics, which characterizes the products of gene expression (proteomes, etc.)
