PR8. Apply during research knowledge of the peculiarities of the development of modern biological science, the basic methodological principles of scientific research, methodological and methodological tools for conducting research in specialization.
PR19. Solve scientific-theoretical, research and applied problems of biology by appropriate methods
PR29. Be able to use modern specialized methods of molecular and population genetics and genetic analysis.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of scientific-theoretical and practical material of academic disciplines taught to students of the educational level "Bachelor".
Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of genetics and molecular biology.
Knowledge of basic principles of basic biological methods.
Course content
The course is designed to summarize the student's understanding of the basic genetic and epigenetic processes of biological objects of different levels of organization, as well as provide students with mastering skills of planning and conducting experimental work using various methods and techniques to solve specific scientific and practical problems. and interpretation of the results of the experiment (both obtained in person and provided by scientific laboratories and / or published in the scientific literature).
