PRO3. Use theories and laws of mathematics, physics, chemistry and other sciences to solve problems of modern biology. PR04. Understand the basic terms, concepts, principles, theories and laws in the field of biological sciences on the border of subject areas. PRO7. Demonstrate knowledge of the structural organization of biological systems at the molecular level of the organization. PR16 Choose methods, algorithms for planning and conducting field, laboratory, and clinical and laboratory research, including mathematical methods and software for research, processing and presentation of results. PR17. Through self-study to master new knowledge and modern methods of experimental research to solve problems of biology. PR21. Solve applied problems of biology by appropriate methods. PR23.9. Have basic methods of modern molecular biology.

1. Successful mastering of the courses "Bioorganic Chemistry", "Biochemistry", "Molecular Biology" 2. Be able to independently apply previously acquired knowledge of molecular biology, biochemistry, etc. disciplines, search for new scientific data, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Have basic skills in working with materials and equipment used in biological and biotechnological laboratories.

The discipline "Macromolecules of Bioorganic Nature" studies the role of carbohydrates in the structure of intracellular biopolymers. The first part is devoted to the chemical structure, properties of biologically active substances (vitamins and hormones). The second part of the discipline introduces the structure, physicochemical properties and molecular biological characteristics of lipids. The third part of the discipline "Macromolecules of Bioorganic Nature" considers the main classes of carbohydrates, glycans, sialic acids, hyaluronates and carbohydrate-related molecules.
