Learning outcomes
PLO 8. Collect, process, and analyze statistical data, scientific and analytical materials needed for solving complex political and economic problems. PLO 9. Make effective decisions under conditions of uncertainty and challenges that require the use of new approaches, methods, and tools of socio-economic, political and economic research. PLO 11. Identify and critically assess the state of socio-economic development and its trends, create and analyze models of economic systems and processes.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of the course "Higher Mathematics for Economists". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the courses "Economic Theory", "Macroeconomics", "Microeconomics".
Course content
The curriculum consists of two content modules: Content module 1. "Linear models of economic dynamics", which discusses the main methods for studying the behavior of systems, the concept of difference and differential equations, methods of solving them, as well as models of the dynamics of economic systems and processes that are described by linear relations. Content module 2. "Nonlinear models of economic dynamics", which are considered basic concepts and methods of research of nonlinear dynamical systems, as well as their application in the study of complex nonlinear economic processes and systems.

Forms of student assessment: (max. Points 100 / min. Points 60) 1. Survey and problem solving (PH 1.1-1.3; 2.1-2.4; 4.1) - 25 points / 15 points; 2. Modular control work (2 MCR, 25 points max. Each) (PH 1.1-1.3; 2.1-2.4; 4.1) - 50 points / 30 points; - final evaluation The final control is carried out in the form of a written test, which is evaluated with a maximum of 25 points and is conducted in one of the last seminars in the discipline. The final grade in the student's discipline is presented based on the results of work during the semester as the sum of points obtained during the academic semester, including points obtained for independent work and the final test.
