Learning outcomes
PLO 10. To analyze the functioning and development of economic entities, to identify functional areas, to calculate the relevant indicators that characterize the performance of their activities.
PLO 12. To apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems in the field of economics and economic policy and interpret the obtained results in a meaningful way.
PLO 15. To demonstrate the basic skills of creative and critical thinking in research and professional communication
PLO 17. To perform multidisciplinary analysis of socio-economic phenomena and problems in one or more professional fields, taking into account risks and possible socio-economic consequences.

Course content
The content of the academic discipline "Insurance" is civil law relations regarding the protection of property interests of citizens and legal entities in the case the occurrence of certain events defined by the insurance contract or in force legislation at the expense of monetary funds formed by payment citizens and legal entities of insurance payments and income from placement of funds of these funds
