Course content
The discipline "Genomic Technologies" is aimed at studying the theoretical and practical foundations of biotechnology of plants, animals and microorganisms in a broad biological context with a set of related disciplines (genetics, genomics, microbiology, animal husbandry, crop production, etc.). The practical component of the program is the development of skills in both laboratory (genomic technologies, molecular diagnostics, production of recombinant organisms) and breeding methods. Successful mastering of the discipline requires knowledge of the basics of planning an experiment, performing biological research using modern equipment, knowledge of the main sections of biological disciplines such as genetics, physiology, microbiology and virology, immunology, general anatomy, biochemistry and others.
