PR01. Be able to perform a patent search, find and process the necessary scientific and technical information; independently apply for the invention. PR02. Know domestic and international copyright law. Be able to protect your intellectual property and avoid infringement of other people's intellectual property. PR08. Plan and manage research, scientific and technical and / or production projects in the field of biotechnology, based on current trends in science, technology and society. PR10. Introduce the most effective biotechnological methods and techniques in practical production activities based on the evaluation of the effectiveness of advanced biotechnologies and taking into account the general trends in the development of new biotechnologies in leading countries.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of disciplines "Computational Mathematics and Programming", "Automation and management of biotechnological production", "Fundamentals of design, economics and organization of biotechnological production" 2. Knowledge of technology and basic elements of information systems, basic principles of construction and operation of modern operating systems, basic Windows commands, personal computer architecture, office applications MsWord, MsExcel.
Course content
Models and tasks of information systems of management of scientific and industrial processes are considered in the discipline "Information technologies in science and production". Particular emphasis in the study of the discipline is given to the study of expert systems (ES) for scientific purposes. This takes into account the peculiarities of the development of ES, as a kind of artificial intelligence, which summarizes several technologies - programming, knowledge engineering, computer technology using mathematical statistics, analytics, logic, etc.
