Learning outcomes
PR03. Carry out technical and economic calculations of design decisions and analyze and evaluate their effectiveness, environmental and social consequences in the short and long term. PR05. Know the molecular organization and regulation of gene expression, replication, recombination and repair, restriction and modification of genetic material in pro- and eukaryotes, the strategy of creating recombinant DNA for targeted design of biological agents. PR06. To know and evaluate the main methods of cultivation of eukaryotic cells of animal and plant origin, to develop new technologies for their use in scientific purposes, medicine, agriculture, etc.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful mastering of PR courses "Bachelor". Be able to perform laboratory and practical work, work with scientific and methodological literature. Have basic skills in working with materials and equipment used in biological and biotechnological laboratories.
Course content
"Genomics" covers the study of genomics - as a separate and complete discipline that is directly related to modern methods of obtaining and analyzing recombinant DNA, cloning specific genes and the use of cloned DNA, DNA sequencing, PCR, genome mapping, use of DNA markers, genomic maps in genetic analysis, as well as provides information on the physical organization of entire genomes, functional genomics, which characterizes the products of gene expression (proteomes, etc.).
