Prerequisites and co-requisites
To the defense of the master's thesis students who have fulfilled all the requirements of the curriculum are admitted. They are admitted to the defense fully completed independently completed master's theses with feedback from the supervisor and an external review of it.
Course content
The master's qualification work is an independent scientific study that reflects the progress and results of the development of the chosen topic. Master's theses are carried out according to a professional direction and comprise 8 credits, i.e. 240 hours of independent student work. The master's thesis is a component of the final certification. The master's qualification work should involve the solution of an actual problem with problems of a professional direction that requires research and/or implementation innovations and is characterized by the uncertainty of conditions and requirements.

Assessment methods and criteria
The master's thesis is a component of the final certification and is evaluated with taking into account the level and quality of the work performed, ownership presented in the defense student with knowledge of modern theories, concepts and paradigms, answer to question, conduct a scientific discussion. The attestation ends with the issuance of a document of the established model on awarding it a master's degree with the qualification of Master in Geography under the educational program "Geography of recreation and tourism".
