Learning outcomes
Tasks of the discipline are aimed at forming the following competencies: to present their research on modern issues of administrative and information law development, using primary sources and techniques of legal interpretation of complex issues arising from this study, to argue conclusions; to develop and teach general disciplines that cover the issues of administrative or information law in educational institutions, to apply modern educational technologies and teaching methods.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Prerequisites for mastering the discipline: 1. Know the main aspects of the formation and development of institutions of administrative and information law of Ukraine; general principles of legal regulation of public relations, which arise in the implementation of executive and administrative activities of the subjects of power, the circulation of information with different legal regimes, sources of legal regulation of administrative and informational relations. 2. Be able to identify and analyze the tasks of legal regulation of certain types of administrative and informational legal relations. 3. Have basic skills in drafting legal documents, taking into account the peculiarities of the practical situation and with the help of legal methods to resolve administrative and information disputes.
Course content
The discipline "Current Issues of Administrative and Information Law" is part of professional training of specialists at Master in Law program, educational course "Intellectual Property" at the Education and Research Law School of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The main components of the discipline are aimed at providing students with knowledge on the peculiarities of legal regulation of public relations that arise in the area of administrative services, the implementation of executive and administrative functions of the state, e-government and circulation of certain types of information; the procedure for the formation and use of national information infrastructure; legal bases of civil service; implementation of administrative procedures; formation of skills to correctly interpret the content of national and international law on the acquisition and exercise of information rights; ensuring information security, as well as protection of information rights of individuals.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The study of the discipline involves lectures and practical classes; express survey/testing/essay (abstract) on the proposed topic; modular test work; student self-study in preparation for seminars; exam.
Assessment methods and criteria
Types of ongoing performance evaluation can be: express survey, report, research, testing (from the set of judgments to choose the right ones), case solving (tasks), module-on control work (final test work). During the ongoing performance evaluation at seminars, the following are assessed: the level of knowledge demonstrated by the student in the answer, activeness in discussing the issues of the seminar, regular work in the classroom, the results of self-study. The discipline is taught during one term. 10 days before the beginning of the session, the teacher who conducts the seminars stops taking practice. For students who have not scored the minimum threshold level of assessment, a final test is conducted.
