Learning outcomes
PL07. Know the mechanisms of functioning of the budget and tax systems of Ukraine and take into account their features in order to organize accounting, the choice of taxation system and the formation of reporting at enterprises. PL11. To determine the directions of increasing the efficiency of formation of financial resources, their distribution and control of the use at the level of enterprises of different organizational and legal forms of ownership. PL14. Be able to apply economic and mathematical methods in the chosen profession. PL20. Perform professional functions taking into account the requirements of social responsibility, labor discipline, be able to plan and manage time.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Assimilation of educational material in the disciplines of "Economic Theory", "Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics for Economists", "Business Economics", "Finance", "Microeconomics"; mastery of methods of economic statistics; basic skills of using Microsoft Excel
Course content
The course covers the nature and features of the insurance market in general, reveals the processes associated with the formation of the organizational structure of the insurer, determines the specifics of capital management of the insurance company, liabilities and assets of the insurer, and reveals the nature and features of different types of insurance. Study of the basics, patterns, principles and features of the modern insurance market, as well as the use of acquired knowledge in the implementation of statistical studies of the dynamics of various types of insurance and the market as a whole.

Assessment methods and criteria
The semester number of points is formed by the points received by the student in the process of mastering the material on all topics of content modules, the implementation of all these seminars and the implementation of individual analytical and calculation work, wt. 60 points, min. 20 points. Final control is carried out in the form of a written exam, which lasts 1 hour. 20 min The maximum number of points for the exam - 40 points, the minimum number of points added to the semester - 15 points.
