Course content
The discipline is a basic discipline that covers the molecular mechanisms of different types of hypersensitivity reactions. The course is based on the classification of different types of hypersensitivity by the mechanisms of immunopathogenesis. An important place is given to the peculiarities of the implementation of immune-mediated damage to tissues and organs, cellular and mediator mechanisms of immunopathological reactions in reagin, cytotoxic, immunocomplex inflammation, as well as the development of granulomatous reactions in various pathologies. Much attention is paid to the biochemical aspects of allergic inflammation, the participation of various pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory mediators in the interaction of immune cells and the role of immune cells in regulating homeostasis, unique features of immunoregulatory mechanisms in ensuring normal functioning.
