Learning outcomes
Fluent in oral and written forms in state and foreign languages ​​on professional matters. Organize and manage the professional development of individuals and groups. Communicate to specialists and non-specialists information, ideas, problems, solutions, personal experience and arguments. Know the history and features of geodesy and land management, their place in the general system of knowledge about nature and society. Plan complex professional activities, develop and implement projects in the field of geodesy and land management under resource and other constraints. Develop and make effective decisions on professional activities in the field of geodesy and land management, including under conditions of uncertainty.

Before studying this course, students must know the basic stages and characteristics of the historical and cultural process, based on knowledge of the school curriculum disciplines "History", "People and the World", "Art Culture", "Ethics".
Course content
The discipline "Philosophy" provides an opportunity to engage students in the worldview and methodological culture accumulated by mankind throughout its history, to show a holistic, integrative nature of knowledge about the world around, emphasize the importance of each person's free worldview, choice of active life position, work good by strengthening the state and society through their own activities. Philosophy for future specialists in natural and economic geography is a philosophical and at the same time methodological basis on the basis of which the humanities, general education, fundamental and applied disciplines are mastered. To a large extent, it is thanks to her that it is possible for students' consciousness to go beyond narrow professional training and focus on universal values.

Assessment methods and criteria
Knowledge control is carried out according to the ECTS system, which provides a two-level assessment of mastered material, including assessment of theoretical training - learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.6), which is 40% of the total assessment and assessment of practical training - learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.6); (communication 3.1-3.3); (autonomy and responsibility 4.1-4.3), which is 60% of the total score. Forms of control include assessment of the oral answer, additions, participation in discussions, modular tests, writing a synopsis of the original source (fragment of the work of a prominent philosopher). Examination assessment takes place in a test form and is evaluated at 40 points.
