The result of the study is the acquisition of knowledge about the specifics of religious systems, which will understand the influences of religious factors on cultural, political, economic life in different societies, and freely navigate the religious processes of the modern world.

Distance form

Prior to studying this course, students must meet the general requirements for knowledge and skills required in higher education. Be able to collect and interpret information about cultural phenomena and phenomena. Have basic skills in research and information management; critical attitudes and predictions about religious events and phenomena.

The discipline introduces students to religious studies. The subject, tasks, theoretical bases, methodologies, main directions and problems of modern religious studies are determined. The principles of religious activity are clarified and the socio-cultural dynamics of religious life is studied. The basic religious doctrines are considered, the typology of religions is outlined. The interaction of religion and other spheres of human life is explained. Special attention is paid to the history of religions in Ukraine.
