Course content
Ichthyology is a discipline of free choice of students, covering the specifics of habitat of representatives of different taxonomic and ecological groups of fish in the aquatic habitat, their ability to adapt to environmental changes and the formation of associations and groups, importance in the formation of bioproductivity and trophic networks within different types of reservoirs, as well as their practical significance in human life. The course is designed to generalize ideas about the specifics of habitat and adaptation of fish to aquatic habitats and to form an understanding of the complex interactions between fish and other groups of aquatic organisms within ecosystems of different bodies of water.
