PR08. Demonstrate knowledge of fundamental biological processes, structure and functions of living organisms. PR15. Apply in professional activities methods for determining the structural and functional characteristics of biological systems at different levels of the organization. PR16. Choose methods, algorithms for planning and conducting field, laboratory, clinical and laboratory research, including mathematical methods and software for research, processing and presentation of results. PR17. Through self-study to master new knowledge and modern methods of experimental research to solve problems of biology. PR18. Demonstrate knowledge of the basic principles of maintaining and promoting health, the formation of values ​​for a healthy lifestyle.

External form

1. Successful mastering of the disciplines "Human Physiology and Anatomy", "General Cytology", "Histology", "Zoology", "Biochemistry". 2. Be able to independently use knowledge of the above disciplines to solve specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature. 3. Have basic skills of summarizing, systematizing and assimilating information.

In the course "Physiology of Nutrition and Digestion", which consists of two modules, the organs of the digestive system and their functions are considered in a single dialectical unity. Physiological processes that are covered within the discipline are studied at the molecular, cellular, tissue, organ and organ systems levels. The material of the first module is devoted to the peculiarities of the digestive system, secretory and motor-evacuation functions. The second module of the course reveals the secretory and motor-evacuatory function of the proximal digestive tract. The acquired knowledge can be used by students not only in the educational process, but also during scientific activities in the field of related and interdisciplinary sciences.
