Course content
The discipline "Structural Biology" is taught in the 3rd semester to 2nd year master's students majoring in "Biophysics and Medical Informatics". During the study of the course much attention is paid to the formation of students' ideas about the structure and functioning of biological structures. The subject of the discipline "Structural Biology" covers the study of the basic principles of structural biology and biophysical methods study of the spatial structure of biomacromolecules and features of their application in the study of biological macromolecules and interactions between them. During the study of the discipline attention is paid to the practical application and importance of certain methods in biomedical and biophysical research.
