PR08. Apply during research knowledge of the peculiarities of the development of modern biological science, the basic methodological principles of scientific research, methodological and methodological tools for conducting research in specialization. PR09. Plan research, choose effective research methods and their material support. PR13. Adhere to the basic rules of biological ethics, biosafety, biosecurity, assess the risks of the latest biological, biotechnological and medical and biological methods and technologies, to identify potentially dangerous organisms or production processes that may pose a threat of emergency situations. PR14. Adhere to the norms of academic integrity in the study and conduct of scientific activities, know the basic legal norms for the protection intellectual property. PR19. Solve scientific-theoretical, research and applied problems of biology by appropriate methods.

Know: basic theoretical and practical ideas about the use of physical methods in biological and medical research, general physics course; 3. Possess: basic skills of conducting and conducting research in the field of biophysics and related sciences.
Course content
During the study of the course "Physical Methods in Biology and Medicine" much attention is paid to the formation of students' knowledge of physical and biophysical principles of methods and work of modern analytical and medical diagnostic equipment, understanding of approaches to the organization of biological and biomedical research, as well as methods of diagnosis and treatment. The subject of the discipline "Physical methods in biology and medicine" are the physical foundations of methods and principles of operation of analytical and medical equipment, as well as principles of analysis and interpretation of biomedical research data obtained using modern methods. During the study of the discipline much attention is paid to the practical application of physical research methods in the field of science and the national health care system.
