Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of courses in higher mathematics and general physics, "Biophysics", "Radiobiology", "Molecular Biology", "Biochemistry", "Biotechnology" bachelor's degree. 2. Be able to independently apply knowledge of mathematics and physics, biophysics, radiobiology and molecular biology, biochemistry and biotechnology, perform laboratory and practical work, work with scientific and methodological literature. 3. Have basic skills in working with materials and equipment used in biomedical laboratories.
Course content
"Medical biophysics" is an integrated science that emerged at the intersection of biological, medical and physical sciences. The task of medical biophysics is the use of the complex fundamental knowledge aimed at understanding the biophysical processes occurring in the human body, which is a necessary condition for rational creation and use of biomedical equipment, the action of which is based on physical phenomena of different nature. Medical biophysics is one of those important disciplines that currently determines scientific and technological progress. Its rapid development is associated with solving the global problem of mankind - improving health.
