Learning outcomes
To analyze social processes in the context of the analyzed problem and demonstrate their own vision of ways to solve it.
To formulate your own sound judgments based on an analysis of a known problem.
To explain the nature of certain events and processes with an understanding of the professional and social context.
It is necessary to know: subject, tasks and methodology of the course "Administrative institutions in Ukraine:
problems of development”, its place in the system of academic disciplines.
It is necessary to know: the provisions of domestic regulations on determining the administrative and legal status of administrative institutions, their functions, competencies, the procedure for adopting individual administrative and legal acts on individuals.
Be able to predict their development and functioning in modern conditions on the basis of knowledge of administrative law and the development of administrative institutions.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Knowledge of the doctrinal understanding of the nature and essence of administrative bodies, executive power, administrative relations, resulting from the study of the course "Administrative Law"; possession of skills of perception and analysis of the provisions of regulations governing the activities of executive bodies. When studying the course, on the basis of systemic and structural-functional, comparative legal analysis, the following aspects are revealed:
a) provisions on the current administrative and legal status of administrative institutions;
b) functions, competencies, procedure for adopting administrative acts;
c) the system of administrative institutions in Ukraine and their development in the context of administrative and legal reform.
Course content
When studying the course, on the basis of systemic and structural-functional, comparative legal analysis, the following aspects are revealed:
a) provisions on the current administrative and legal status of administrative institutions; b) functions, competencies, procedure for adopting administrative acts; c) the system of administrative institutions in Ukraine and their development in the context of administrative and legal reform; d) examples of European experience in organizing the system of administrative institutions; e) modern problems of creation, liquidation, interaction of administrative institutions in Ukraine, improvement of their activity and legal regulation.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, practical classes, questioning, tasks, solving cases, solving tests, practical situations, forming proposals for the development of legislation.
Modern interactive teaching methods with the use of modern information technologies and means of communication are used.
Assessment methods and criteria
The control of knowledge is carried out according to the credit-module system, the total number of scores is formed by the semester scores received during mastering of educational modules. The forms of students’ assessment - semester forms of assessment:
express questioning - from 1 to 4 scores;
colloquium - from 3 to 4 scores;
reports and scientific works - from 6 to 7 scores;
testing (from the set of judgments to choose the right ones) - from 6 to 7 scores;
module tests - from 2 to 4 scores for each (total: from 6 to 12 scores);
intermediate control (final test) - 2 to 6 scores.
