Learning outcomes
PLO 4. To assess and analyze critically the vital social, individual and professional issues and offer tactics of their solution in difficult and unpredictable conditions, which requires the application of new approaches and forecasting.
PLO 5. To find optimal ways of effective interaction in the professional community and with representatives of other professional groups at various levels.
PLO 20. To organize the process of teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language, taking into account psychological, pedagogical and methodological principles (according to the selective block "Ukrainian language in higher education institutions").

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know: the basic principles of social development of society, philosophical, cultural, political and legal foundations of life in a democratic society, group and individual. To know the Ukrainian language at a level sufficient for studying scientific literature, listening to lectures and working in seminars.
To be able to: apply theoretical knowledge of psychology in the process of studying problems, assessing the needs, characteristics and resources of other people, developing ways to overcome their problems.
To have basic skills: application of modern information and communication technologies to solve problems of professional activity; determination of individual needs, age, gender, ethnic characteristics of other people; generation of new ideas, evaluation of results and quality of professional activity.
Course content
The aim of the discipline is to provide general theoretical training of master's students in the field of psychology of higher education, as well as mastering modern psychological technologies of effective educational activities in higher education institutions.
The discipline reveals the psychological foundations of the educational process in higher education, the essence of the mechanisms of professional development, the peculiarities of educational and professional activities in higher education. The discipline allows undergraduate students to practically develop the ability to organize educational work in a higher education institution, reveals the psychological patterns, factors, effects of educational and professional socialization of a person who receives higher education in the specialty "philology".

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Forms of study - lectures, seminars, independent work.
Teaching methods - explanation of new material, conversation, psychological training, independent work with scientific sources, discussion, diagnosis, forecasting, designing and modeling of educational situations, creative tasks.
Assessment methods and criteria
Oral response at seminars; additions, participation in discussions; independent creative written work; module test; exam.
