Prerequisites and co-requisites
Successful completion of the course "Geography of Europe. of North America, the Arctic,
Arctic and Atlantic Oceans" and "Geography of Asia, Oceania,
of Australia, Indian and Pacific Oceans".
Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of the formation of natural laws
geographic zoning and altitudinal belt.
Mastery of methods of analysis, synthesis, induction and deduction
Course content
Discipline is directed
on the formation of students' deep comprehensive knowledge about the peculiarities of nature
Africa, South America and Antarctica. There are separate components of the discipline
study of the spatial differentiation of the geographical envelope, geological history
development and tectonic-orographic structure, climatic features,
surface waters, soils and vegetation, criteria for selection of natural zones, etc
of taxonomic units of physical and geographical zoning of Africa, South
America and Antarctica. Special attention when studying the course is directed to analysis
natural conditions and resources, issues of preserving species diversity of flora,
fauna and natural landscapes as a whole.
