Full-time form

High level of Ukrainian language proficiency; successful completion of the disciplines of the elective block "Practical Translation for Those who Study Ukrainian as a Foreign Language", developed text processing skills.

The aim of the discipline is to deepen the knowledge acquired in the theoretical courses in translation studies, develop skills in translation and interpreting from the native language into Ukrainian, improve professional translation competence, and increase the general level of proficiency in the Ukrainian language. During the internship, students translate a scientific text (scientific texts) on the topic of their thesis of 5-8 pages from their native language into Ukrainian, translate texts of official business style from Ukrainian into their native language, participate in interpreting business meetings, and prepare a report on their translation practice.

Forms of study: independent work, individual consultations. Teaching methods: problem-based teaching (explanation, discussion, analysis); independent work with scientific and reference literature.
