Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of scientific-theoretical and practical material of academic disciplines taught to students of educational level "Bachelor". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of anatomy, microbiology, virology, general immunology, physiology and biochemistry. 3. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of laboratory research on the state of the immune system. 4. Possession of basic skills in the use of immunological methods to identify dysfunction of various parts of the immune system. 5. Course content
The discipline "Immunomodulatory medicines" is a component of the educational program of professional training of specialists of the educational level "Bachelor". The discipline is selective and is devoted to the study of drugs with immunomodulatory effects and immunotropic substances used for immunocorrection in various pathological conditions. The main types of pathological conditions and underlying processes for which there is a need for immunomodulatory drugs are considered; modern classifications of immunomodulatory drugs, mechanisms of their immunomodulatory and pharmacological action and the principles of choosing a drug to correct the immune response
