Course content
"Biological basis of infectious processes" is an innovative course that offers a systematic approach to understanding the complex mechanisms of interaction of bacteria with the human body. The course provides information on the fundamental concepts of infection and infectious process of bacterial etiology. The human body is considered as a complex microbiotope for the existence of various bacterial microbiocenoses with emphasis on the importance of microbiota in physiological processes of various organs and systems of the host organism. Particular attention is paid to factors of bacterial pathogenicity as the main factors of infectious pathological processes in the human body.
