PR03. Use theories and laws of mathematics, physics, chemistry and other sciences to solve problems of modern biology. PR05. Use knowledge and demonstrate compliance with the provisions of biological ethics, biological safety and biological protection. PR06. Apply the principles of taxonomy, methods of detection and identification of non-cellular life forms, prokaryotes and eukaryotes. PR08. Demonstrate knowledge of fundamental biological processes, structure and functions of living organisms. PR12. Demonstrate knowledge of the structure and functions of the immune system, cellular and molecular mechanisms of immune responses, their regulation, genetic control; types of immunity and methods of assessing the immune status of the organism. PR15. Apply in professional activities methods for determining the structural and functional characteristics of biological systems at different levels of the organization.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of scientific-theoretical and practical material of academic disciplines taught to students of educational level "Bachelor". 2. Knowledge of the theoretical foundations of biochemistry, cytology and histology, zoology, microbiology, immunology, virology, physiology, biophysics. 3. Knowledge of the basic principles of basic biological methods. 4. Have basic skills of targeted use of laboratory equipment and / or reagents. 5. Have basic skills in planning and conducting experimental research in a particular field of biology in order to solve a specific scientific and practical problem. 6. Have basic skills of analytical evaluation of research results conducted in various fields of biology and / or in a particular biological field to solve a specific scientific and practical problem.
Course content
The course covers the development of modern methods of immunological research, designed to outline the range of methods and techniques of research conducted in various fields of immunology and / or in a particular biological field to solve a specific scientific problem, which can be used in related research. The course is designed to summarize the student's understanding of the basic methods of working with biological objects of different levels of organization (from individual molecules to whole organisms and their populations), as well as provide students with skills in planning and conducting experimental work using different methods and techniques. specific scientific and practical task, statistical processing of the obtained data and interpretation of the experimental results (both obtained in person and provided by scientific laboratories and / or published in the scientific literature).
