Theoretical and methodological features and conceptual and categorical apparatus of the new political economy. Economic analysis of social needs, public goods and public choice. Economic analysis of direct and representative democracy. Economics of bureaucracy. Preconditions and socio-economic consequences of lobbying and seeking political rent. The essence and mechanisms of the political business cycle. Constitutional economics.
