Prerequisites and co-requisites
1. Successful mastering of scientific-theoretical and practical material of academic disciplines taught to students of educational level "Bachelor": "Immunology", "General cytology", "Histology", "Biochemistry", "Physiology and anatomy of man and animals", "Biophysics" " etc.
2. Ability to independently apply knowledge of the basics of anatomy, histology and cytology, general immunology, physiology and biophysics, and other disciplines to solve specific scientific and practical problems; work with scientific and scientific-methodical literature.
3. Possession of basic skills of systems analysis.
Course content
The course is devoted to the study of biological effects of radiation and non-ionizing radiation of low and high doses on cells and tissues of the immune system. Some issues of dosimetry, rapid and long-term effects of radiation on the immune system, immunity during pregnancy, childhood immunity, basics of radiation protection and post-radiation recovery of the immune system are considered.
