Know 1.1 Know the main macroeconomic concepts and categories, methods and models of acroeconomics. 1.2. To understand how the economic system functions, the mechanism of action of various factors that cause disruption and restoration of macroeconomic balance. problems of the modern mixed economy, affecting the behavior of the system, the conditions of macroeconomic equilibrium and its violations. 1.3. To know macroeconomic indicators, trends, features and problems of functioning of the modern world and national economy, national models of macroeconomic regulation.

Course content
The discipline "Economic theory" belongs to the list of compulsory subjects and is taught under the OP "Cartography, geographic information systems, remote sensing of the Earth" in the 5th semester. Economic theory is a branch of economic science that studies: patterns of functioning of the national economy as a whole; patterns of aggregated behavior of macroeconomic subjects at the level of the economic system as a whole; factors influencing the main macroeconomic parameters - gross domestic product, unemployment and inflation, the state of the state budget and the country's balance of payments, rates of economic growth, etc.; conditions establishment of macroeconomic equilibrium and reasons for its violation in the context of aggregated markets. The discipline consists of two substantive parts: 1. General principles of socio-economic development (topics 1-10, principles of economic functioning, essence, purpose, tasks, subject of economic theory research, laws and principles of development of economic systems). 2. Theoretical foundations of the functioning of the economy at the micro-, macro- and global levels (topics 11-20, the basic principles of the organization and conduct of economic activity at the micro-, macro- and global levels, the activity of economic entities, which involves the use of effective management methods in conditions of limited resources and aimed at maximum satisfaction of unlimited economic needs).

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Presentations and participation in discussions at seminar classes, performance of practical calculation and creative tasks, final control work, credit. Lecture, seminar classes, independent work.
Assessment methods and criteria
Semester evaluation of such types of work as: individual presentations, additions and discussions of a theoretical nature, solving problems and solving practical tasks, control and independent (writing essays, essays, abstracting of English-language articles) work is carried out during seminar classes that take place in - online or offline according to the schedule in the audience specified in it. Assessment of individual student work. The results of individual independent work must be presented in the form of an essay designed in accordance with the requirements with multimedia support (presentation). The presentation is a concise presentation/visualization of the main material of the essay.
