Course content
While studying this course, the student will gain basic knowledge about the organizational and scientific-methodological support of teaching Ukrainian and foreign culture, basic knowledge about the prerequisites of formation, genesis, main stages of development and peculiarities of foreign and Ukrainian culture; basic ideas about the main stages of the development of world and Ukrainian art, modern scientific concepts within which they are studied, the main artistic trends and figures that determined their development; basic ideas about the history of the development and functioning of the Ukrainian and foreign cultural space, its genesis and current state.

Lecture, seminar, independent work, written work, presentations, assessment work.
Assessment methods and criteria
The overall grade for the semester is formed from two components:
Assessment for completing the tasks of seminar classes (7 classes*for 10 points=maximum 70 points).
Assessment for the performance of creative work (maximum 10 points).
Final control - a maximum of 20 points. It is carried out in the form of a written assessment (test) in the last week of the semester. The condition for admission to the credit is the student's performance of practical tasks and creative work with a total score of at least 40 points.
Students who scored less than 60 points on all successfully completed forms of control, to increase their grade to 60 points, get the opportunity to write an additional control paper and complete homework.
The assessment is conducted in written form - a test (20 questions with the choice of one correct answer and 10 questions with the establishment of correspondences). The duration of the assessment is 1 academic hour. The maximum score is 20 points.
