Course content
The educational discipline "Analytical and digital photogrammetry" is a theoretical and practical basis for training photo processing specialists to create topographic plans and maps and solve the problems of remote determination of the dimensions, quantitative and qualitative characteristics of objects in many spheres of activity. It is the basis for obtaining the "Bachelor" educational level. The course covers the theoretical foundations of digital photogrammetry, the mathematical apparatus of which is analytical photogrammetry. Special attention is paid to issues of digital image processing, in particular geometry and methods of obtaining digital images, improving their quality, speed of working with large data sets, methods of their compression and conversion, methods of orientation of images, etc. The practical component of the course includes a detailed study of image processing technology at modern digital photogrammetric stations, in particular, the construction of digital models of the terrain and terrain. The theory and practice of the automated solution of basic photogrammetric problems are also studied, and modern approaches in the technology of aerospace mapping of the surface of the Earth and planets are considered.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lecture, laboratory and independent work, performance of analytical and calculation work, presentation, survey blitz, defense of completed homework, job counseling throughout the semester, exam
Assessment methods and criteria
- current (semester) evaluation (seminars (minimum grade 24, maximum 40; control papers (6-10); independent work (5-10)); – final (final) assessment in the form of an exam (assessment for theoretical knowledge (minimum 12, maximum 20 points); assessment for the practical part (13-20). For students who scored a total of less points than the critical calculation minimum - 35 points, for admission to the final control form, it is necessary to pass an additionally completed individual complex task.
