To know modern methods of meteorology research and be able to apply them in production and research activities (PLO-7).
Identify and classify known and record new phenomena and processes in the atmosphere, their properties and inherent features (PLO-13).
Form of study
Full-time form
Prerequisites and co-requisites
successful mastering of the disciplines "Fundamentals of meteorology", "Atmospheric chemistry", "Physics", "Atmospheric physics";
knowledge of theoretical foundations of some physical and chemical processes in the atmosphere.
Course content
The discipline "Atmospheric Optics, Electricity and Acoustics" is one of the components of the comprehensive training of the specialty "Earth Sciences" in the program "Meteorology". In the process of studying the discipline, atmospheric phenomena of optical, electrical and acoustic nature are considered in their connection with the weather on Earth and processes on the Sun and in space. Much attention is paid to the meteorological factors of these phenomena and the possibility of their use as local signs of weather changes.
