Learning outcomes
PRN1. To evaluate one's own educational and scientific and professional activities in the field of Belarusian and Ukrainian studies, to build and implement an effective strategy of self-development and professional self-improvement.
PRN8. To evaluate the historical assets and the latest achievements of Slavic (Belarusian) and Ukrainian literary studies.
PRN11. Carry out a scientific analysis of Belarusian, Ukrainian, English language and speech material, as well as Belarusian and Ukrainian literary material, interpret and structure it taking into account classical and modern methodological principles, formulate generalizations based on independently processed data.

Prerequisites and co-requisites
To know the processes of development and interdependence of current problems of Ukrainian and foreign cultures, the specifics of the formation of the Ukrainian literary process from antiquity to the present, scientific approaches to the periodization of the history of Ukrainian literature, the views of modern domestic and foreign critics regarding literary genres, figures and periodicals;
to have basic theoretical knowledge of oral folk art, ancient Ukrainian literature: Middle Ages and Baroque, history of Ukrainian literature of the 18th century, history of Ukrainian literature of the first and second half of the 19th century, history of Ukrainian literature of the end of the 19th - beginning of the 20th century, to be oriented in modern approaches to analysis literary works.
Course content
The discipline is Part II of the KD "New Belarusian literature in relation to the Ukrainian literary process", belongs to the research component of the OP. Its purpose is to systematize students' knowledge about the development of Ukrainian literature in the European context and the influence of the East Slavic cultural and educational space on it, to form an idea of the research potential of aspects of the discipline based on specific literary texts and literary and critical reviews about them. The subject provides information on the philosophical, psychological, and literary concepts of the reflection of life realities in artistic reality, emphasizes the evolution of the author's consciousness, the originality of artistic forms of its explanation; allows you to determine the criteria and methods of analysis of the latest Ukrainian literary texts from the point of view of modern criticism.

Assessment methods and criteria
During the semester, evaluation is carried out in accordance with the types of works and the form of the exam: Answer at the seminar session (3/5 p.); Scientific report (independent work) (4/7 p.); Scientific essay (independent work) (5/8 p.); Presentation (independent work) (7/10 p.). The credit is given based on the results of the student's work throughout the entire semester and does not include additional assessment measures. Students who scored the minimum positive number of points - 60, receive "enrolled".
