PLO 3. To apply modern methods and techniques, namely informational, in order to perform successful and effective professional activity and guarantee the quality of research in a specific field of Translation Studies. PLO 6. To use knowledge on expressive, emotive, logical language means and speech techniques, principles of intercultural management in order to achieve an intended pragmatic result and organize successful communication. PLO 16. To use specialized conceptual knowledge in a chosen field of Translation Studies to solve complex tasks and issues, which require updates and integration of knowledge, often under conditions of incomplete or lacking information and contradictory requirements.

Full-time form

1. Successful mastery of theoretical and practical translation disciplines according to the educational program. 2. Proficiency in Ukrainian language at the C2/native level and proficiency in German language at the B2 level.

The discipline includes lectures and practical sessions where students familiarize themselves with the implementation algorithm of translation projects, participants in the translation market, the fundamentals of project management through the lens of translation practice. They learn to prepare and plan projects, assess their possibilities and risks, evaluate translation quality, and apply technical tools used in translation activities and their management. The course aims to develop and enhance key organizational competencies of translators to address professional tasks required for the implementation of translation projects.

Oral response, blitz questioning, test, presentation of an individual project, module assessment.

Knowledge assessment is carried out according to the ECTS system, which includes a two-level evaluation of the acquired material. The theoretical preparation is evaluated based on learning outcomes (knowledge 1.1 - 1.3), which constitutes 40% of the overall grade. The practical preparation is evaluated based on learning outcomes (skills 2.1-2.2), (communication 3.), and (autonomy and responsibility 4.), which constitutes 60% of the overall grade.
