Learning outcomes
Students' achievement of such competencies as: ability to apply general and special civil knowledge in the theory of banking transactions in the practical field of banking and payment services; ability to identify, pose and solve problems of civil law regulation of the bank-client relationship; ability to develop projects of bank transactions; ability to make informed decisions on the application of civil law in resolving disputes, arising from consumers of banking and payment services; ability to evaluate the latest legal banking tools

Prerequisites and co-requisites
Know the main aspects of the formation and development of civil law institute of banking transactions in Ukraine, features of classification and content of transactions, their legal nature; literature on legal issues of proper provision of financial services, acts of civil law governing the relations of participants in relevant services and the practice of resolving disputes between banks and their customers. Be able to assess and determine the role and objectives of the institute of banking transactions, to distinguish between types of civil transactions, to give a legal description of individual banking transactions. Have basic skills in preparing a draft banking transaction, taking into account the peculiarities of the practical situation and with the help of legal methods to resolve disputes arising in the field of financial services.
Course content
Forms of teaching and teaching methods of this discipline are aimed at conducting legal analysis of civil transactions used in the practice of banks and studying theoretical and practical issues concerning the functioning of the banking system of Ukraine, payment systems and banks and other entities. Within the framework of the discipline the general characteristic of contractual obligations in the sphere of banking activity and activity on rendering of payment services is studied; legal regulation of settlement relations and currency transactions; legal nature and characteristics of bank account agreements, bank deposits, credit agreements; characteristics of other banking operations and services.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Lectures, seminars, individual assignments, express questioning, abstracts, development of a bank transaction project, self-study work of the student on the basis of textbooks, abstracts, methodical recommendations, consultations with the teacher.
Assessment methods and criteria
At seminars ongoing performance evaluation of the student's knowledge of the discipline includes: reports and research papers - from 6 to 10 points; express questioning - from 3 to 5 points; case resolution - from 5 to 7 points; presentation - from 5 to 10 points; discourse - from 5 to 8 points. The following are subject to assessment: the level of knowledge demonstrated in the response; activity in discussing issues; systematic work in the classroom; results of individual tasks. Missing for good reason seminars students can work in extracurricular time (during the teacher's consultations) through oral interviews, testing, preparation of scientific reports. A student who has not reached the minimum threshold level of assessment (24 points) of those learning outcomes that cannot be assessed during the final assessment may be excluded from the final assessment. The final assessment of the student's knowledge takes place during the written test (maximum score - 60).
